Two young men are talking on the patio outside Founding Fathers. I catch snippets of their conversation, and I hear the first say:
I’m leaning in on truth and mystery.
A focus on relationships, he says. A lot of the congregation is single. It's still my church.
I want to be near the church, he says. (But he’s worried about his expenses.)
There’s the community food bill, and then with rent, wifi, trash…
I want the environment, I want people to be able to come over…
I know you're supposed to spend time with your friends when you have free time.
(I hear him use the word “pagans.”)
You could not go to college, says his friend.
Yes, but I want to provide security for my wife, says the first.
